Jamnagar

Situated between the two river Rangmati and Nagmati is founded in 1540 AD. with the name navanagar which was change to Jamnagar after sometime. According to Hindu ancient sculptures, the city of Dwarka part of Jamnagar state was establish Lord Krishna after migration from Mathura. People speak the Kathiawadi, Kachi and Gujarat languages. There are lot of Sanatan and Jain temples only marine sanctuary.
It has got the oil refineries and brass metal manufacturing units and also famous for traditional Bandhni printed clothes.
Places to visit are Darbargadh Palace, Lakhota Fort, Willingdon Crescent, Pratap Vilas Palace, Dhanvantri Mandir, Ashapura Maa Temple, Shnatinath Mandir, Vardhman Shah’s Temple, Bala Hanuman Temple, Bholeshwar Mahadev Temple.
