Bhuj

The City of Bhuj is establish by Rao Hamirji in 1510 and the state capital by Rao Khengarji in 59 AD. It remained an independence till 1947 and became a part of India after the Britisher left. It is famous for its havelis and traditional building during the Jadeja Dynasty.
Bhuj is got its name form the fort called Bhuj that over look the city from a hill. It find its name in the mention in the story of Pandavas of the Mahabharata during the they exile and always the Alexander the great invasion into India through Bhuj.
It is well connected by train with Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Banglore. It is also connected by air with Mumbai.
