About Gujarat

Gujarat state is in the western part of India has been one of the main centers of the Indus Valley civilization, such as Lotha Dholavira and Gola Dhora. It is famous for its industries like textiles mills, motor parts, ship dismantling and the diamond polishing. One of the largest oil refinery at Jamnagar. The world largest ship breaking yard at Alang and among agricultural product are cotton, groundnut, dates, sugarcane and milk products.
It is also famous for attracts tourist from all over the world for beautiful carvings and contraction of age old steps wells, wild life for Asiatic lion, the largest salt marsh Rann kutch, Migratory birds and beautiful clean sea beaches.
The famous festivals are Navratri, Makar Sankranti, Diwali, Holi, Tazia.
